Two Truths and the Lie Revealed

Yesterday, I shared three things about myself for Tell All Tuesday. Your job was to find the statement that was a lie! Congrats to all of you who commented with the correct lie. I hope your free product is a help to you in your classroom. So here are the truths about myself:

I've never been pulled over by a police officer is TRUE. I'm not saying that I never speed. Just that I have had the good fortune to never be stopped for speeding. Which also means that I have never gotten a ticket. (I'm really hoping that putting that in writing doesn't change the good fortune that I have had up until now.)

My favorite hobby is cycling. This fact is a LIE. I am not a person who loves any form of exercising. I prefer to read, watch Netflix, color, or work on my computer - pretty much anything that doesn't include exercise. I will occasionally go for walks with my son around our neighborhood, but even those are short. And yes, my doctor has told me that it would be good for me to exercise. Unfortunately that doesn't make me want to do it any more than I did before.

I teach at the same school I graduated from is TRUE.
I graduated from a private Christian school in Connecticut that has grades K-12. I taught at another school for several years, but through various circumstances was able to come back and teach at my alma mater. I am so thankful for my school, and consider it a blessing to teach here. Plus I have an awesome administrator and great teachers to work with!

I hope you had fun trying to guess my lie. Stop by next Tuesday for more summer fun!
